A very small SBUS and Smart Port enabled receiver that provides slightly faster response time than the CPPM signals from a D4R-II and is capable of 16 channels. Please note that this receiver is not directly compatible with the Naze Rev 5 boards (pre September 2015). The Naze Rev 6 boards have the required inverter built in.
This receiver does not support standard telemetry from the Naze boardClick like the D4R-II receiver. If you want to monitor battery voltage on your Taranis, you can connect the FVBS-01 for total pack voltage or the FLVSS for individual cell monitoring (and any other Smart Port accessories).
To use the receiver with a Naze 32, connect ground to ground (1st hole on the Naze), power to 5v (second hole) and the SBUS output to pin labeled U2RX/4 (UART 2).
On the Ports tab, go to UART2 and under the Rx column, slide the Serial Rx button to the right so it shows green. Click save and reboot.
On the Configuration tab, under Receiver Mode choose RX_Serial and under Serial Receiver Provider select SBUS. Click save and reboot.
Dimension 40*22.5*6mm (same size as the D4R-II)
Weight 5.8g/5g (naked)
Operating Range full range (>1.5km)
Operating Voltage Range 3.5~10V
Operating Current 100mA
Number of Channels 4ch
Set your transmitter to D16 (different than the D4R-II receiver)
All FrSKY receivers come flashed with North American firmware. If you're in the EU you'll need to reflash the receiver with EU firmware (or change the radio).
