FrSky 24CH Taranis X9 Lite Radio Supports ACCESS and D16 Mode
The 'S' model is an upgraded version of the X9 Lite with dual momentary buttons on the top shoulders, hall sensor gimbals, balance charging for 2S Li-ion battery via USB, scroll button adding convenience when navigating the menu, and with a smaller but same form factor as the well known X9D series. It also features accurate SWR indicator along with the addition of FrSKY's PARA Wireless Trainer Function, making it compatible with the FrSky Free Link App and AirLink S, while the wired training port is still retained.
The Taranis X9 Lite S also uses the latest ACCESS communication protocol, along with ErskyTX / OpenTX open-source operating system, which boasts 24 channels with a faster baud rate and lower latency because of its high-speed module digital interface. ACCESS features like wireless firmware updates and wireless configurations are completely supported, providing a more reliable more secure link between the transmitter and model. Even more practical features will be unlocked gradually, making the X9 Lite S a fully functioning remote control with a ton of extra features.
The X, XM, RX, GX series receivers can be upgraded to ACCESS protocol. The 1st batch of updates includes XM, RXSR, RX4R, RX6R, G-RX6, and G-RX8. The 2nd batch will include XM Plus, RX8R Pro and etc. More details about ACCESS here.
