V2 has extra predrilled holes to accomodate boards with 20x20mm hole spacing in straight and 45° angles to the main board.
Born out of the frustration of building a machine and wishing we had another layer to mount stuff on or something to separate a distribution board from shorting out on a carbon frame. The Thingie is cut from G10 fiberglass to the same dimensions as a standard control board with matching holes (36x36mm). The surface is easy to adhere to and can be drilled, cut or machined if you want to add extra holes or slots for wiring. And best of all, named by our very own Athelma, who packs many of your orders!
- non conductive G10 fiberglass - can be used to separate a distribution board from a carbon fiber frame
- thermally tolerant - you can put it under a distribution board and solder in place without fear of it melting
