Now available with presoldered 2mm bullet connectors! These are connected directly to the enameled motor wires - shorter than many people feel comfortable doing themselves. Make your install look pro! This is the latest production batch with the upgraded Japanese NMB bearing. The new 2208 in a 2000kv version. This motor really has one purpose - to run 6" props on 4S and hit the rpm that 2204 and 2206 class motors simply can't reach. They'll provide 1kg of thrust with a 6x4.5 prop on 4S and 22A of currrent draw. We recommend the Rotorgeeks 12A ESC for this motor. Sounds crazy but check out the video below. Thrust charts are below that.
Something to consider if you're looking at this motor. As a 'large' 2000kv motor it has a relatively easy time with most 5" and 6" props. In most cases there is no additional thrust when compared to the the Cobra 2204 1960kv motor (and no efficiency gain either). The only time the benefit of this larger motor comes into play is with the 6x4.5 prop or larger (and perhaps the new 5x4.5 - testing needed). If you don't plan on using that prop, you'll probably have your needs met by the smaller, lighter 2204 model. The weight savings will increase agility and crash survival.
Weight is 40g (vs 26 for 2204) = extra 56g for a quad, 85g for hex
