New High Voltage lithium cells - your charger should have HV Lipo setting to properly charge these batteries. The advantage of HV packs is that they operate at slightly higher voltage and as a result, can ultimately deliver more power when compared to standard Lipos. While they can be charged like standard Lipo batteries, HV packs need to be charged to 4.35V per cell to achieve full capacity charge. If you don't have a charger capable with the HV setting, there is no advantage.
Please note that there was a labeling error on this batch of batteries so we are adding a sticker to denote the 'HV' nature of these packs. There is no danger in charging them as standard batteries but there is serious danger in charging a standard pack to the higher voltage of an HV cell. Please be VERY careful with your charger settings when you add these to your collection of batteries.
Are you tired of C-ratings that just don't cut it? Us too! After a year of purchasing samples and testing we finally found a battery good enough to put our name on it. We've put over a dozen brands and suppliers through the paces and the results were shocking. The Rotorgeeks True C battery doesn't have the biggest number you'll find but makes a more realistic claim about performance along with a reasonable price.
These batteries are designed specifically for multirotor use, which means
