FrSky Taranis X9 Lite ELRS Bundle

ExpressLRS is a rapidly developing open source control link capable of providing ultra low latency and long range at a very reasonable cost.  But let's be honest, between configuring, compiling firmware and flashing, setting it up can be a bit complex! 
This is where we earn the name Rotorgeeks!

This complete bundle has everything you need to start using ExpressLRS, including a flashed and configured radio (batteries included) with loaded SD card and scripts, 1 Watt ELRS transmitter module and a receiver that's already bound with your personal passphrase (no more button pushing!)

Here's what we do:

• flash radio w/OpenTX, calibrate sticks and set up the ELRS model
• add SD card with Amber sound pack files and ELRS configuration script
• flash ELRS TX module to the latest version and set your personal passphrase
• flash ELRS RX to the latest version with your personal passphrase

Note that we are choosing to flash with OpenTX and not the alternative EdgeTX.  It offers no advantages for FrSKY radios and introduces a dependency on the SD card that can be additional point of failure i.e. without it your radio won't work...ask us how we know!

Everything will be setup for you in advance so you can just install the receiver onto your machine and go!  One great, not so well known feature is the ELRS module has the ability to connect to your PC by bluetooth and act as a game controller allowing you to play on your favorite flight simulator wirelessly!  No more USB cable between the PC and controller.

About the options listed:

• Flashing: The internal FrSKY module is flashed with ACCESS & ACCST 2.1.x FCC. If using older FrSKY receivers you can flash this radio back to V1 or have us do it for you (available in the options)
• Receiver: You have the choice between EP1 (comes with two T-antennas) or EP2 (onboard ceramic antenna)
• Set passphrase: ELRS uses a passphrase to bind RX and TX so you don't have to reach bind buttons.  Let us know which passphrase you would like to use (this is for convenience rather than a security feature so choose something easy).
• Transmitter stand: A must have for ELRS users or anyone running an external module in their radio so your radio can stand upright and not go down on the module.
